The SEDP staff is purposefully diverse, employing people of all ages, races and ethnic backgrounds.
The program routinely leads through example by treating all students and staff equally and with respect. The program utilizes behavior modeling for the students. All teachers participate in the activities with the students, encouraging improvements and recognizing achievements.
SEDP staff spends time developing individual student interests by offering a wide variety of sports, reading, sharing and group activities. Many of these activities are extended beyond the classroom when students take these reinforced skills outside of the program.

When students participate on town sports teams and other club activities outside of SEDP, the social and practical skills they have learned at SEDP help them to be better members of the community.
Students are always encouraged to pursue their interests at the individual and group levels through all the activities offered at SEDP.

Also, we know kids learn a lot from each other while building friendships. Our passion lies in helping kids learn from one an other!
It is very rewarding to work with the children of Extended Day and see them grow.
