Commitment To The Community

Scholarships

SEDP prides itself on providing services to families from all backgrounds and situations.  We understand that sometimes families encounter difficult financial circumstances, but still require childcare during these hard times.  SEDP has historically been able to work with these families through individualized payment arrangements to see them through those tough times.

SEDP also offers four week-long scholarships for our summer program in conjunction with the “Friends of Youth and Family” services organization.

For more information regarding scholarships, please contact us directly at 508-481-9353.  As with all of our communications with families, we keep the strictest confidence on all personal information.

For more information, or to apply for scholarship assistance, please visit our 'Scholarships' page and download this form.

Community Service and Financial Contributions to the Community

SEDP is concerned with the greater community and not just the segment of students cared for by the program. SEDP contributes to the town of Southborough through community service, financial support and by providing opportunities for participation within the program.

SEDP often participates in community fundraisers including SOS, Southborough Education Foundation, Lion’s Club, Algonquin Boosters & Algonquin Year Book, the Southborough Police & Fire Departments, the Kindergroup Santa Day, the Southborough Arts Council, the Council on Aging, Carlton Gardens and St. Matthew’s Church.  SEDP is always willing to lend a helping hand to those around us.

Algonquin High School Community Action Program

SEDP gives back to the student community of Southborough and Northborough through programs such as the Algonquin High School Community Action Program.  This program welcomes High School-aged students to volunteer at SEDP and receive school credit. SEDP also provides a venue for Trottier Middle School students to collect community service hours as a component of their curriculum.
